Fern Gordon

Fern qualified as a solicitor in September 2019 and joined Forbes' Employment department in August 2020. Fern works predominantly with commercial clients across a range of industry sectors including retail, hospitality, manufacturing and financial services providing practical, commercially focused advice.

Fern specialises in advising on the employment aspects of Corporate and Property transactions (such as business transfers and mergers and acquisitions) such as TUPE, due diligence, associated settlement agreements, directors service agreements and contractual employment issues. She also provides advice on a range of day-to-day HR and employment law issues, including recruitment, sickness absence, performance management, disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancies and TUPE transfers.

Fern acts for clients in respect of employment tribunal proceedings, holds bespoke training sessions for clients and provides assistance with drafting, negotiating and advising on settlement agreements.
