We provide support to a range of businesses through our fixed fee retainer services under which you will work with a dedicated specialist employment law expert who will understand your business and will be able to guide and advise you on the employment and HR challenges faced within your organisation.

Our retainers are a bespoke helpline service under which we provide advice and support either over the telephone or via e-mail in relation to general day-to-day employment issues.

We have two different retainer products - HR Complete and In house HR, both of which are bespoke and built upon the needs of your business. HR Complete & In House HR

HR Complete & In House HR

HR Complete is our fixed fee retainer generally aimed at SME's with up to 250 employees.

In House HR is our is fixed fee retainer aimed at businesses with more than 250 employees and/or businesses who operate from a range of different sites/locations and generally who have a large or wider HR team in place.

Services provided under our retainers

Under both of these retainers we will work closely with you and your HR team to provide employment and HR advice and support to your business.

For an annual fixed fee (payable in monthly instalments) we can:

  • Provide decisive, commercial advice via telephone or email in relation to day-to-day HR queries;

  • Provide you with a dedicated specialist employment expert as a go-to contact who will be supported by a wider team of advisers and a dedicated client relationship partner;

  • Supply template documents in relation to a number of day-to-day HR issues such as disciplinary and grievance documents, sickness absence letters and redundancy letters;

  • Meet with your team on commencement of the retainer to get to know you better, discuss how we will work together and understand your key strategic priorities;

  • Undertake a review of your existing contracts and handbook on commencement of the retainer to ensure that they are fully compliant or provide a template contract and handbook if there are no existing documents in place;

  • Offer a 10% discount on matters that fall outside the scope of the retainer including Employment Tribunal claims;

  • Provide two free places for two people at our regular employment law seminars and events;

  • Provide two free places for two people for our online training programme - online webinars take place every other month. Additional places can be booked at a discounted rate;

  • Provide regular updates and e-news bulletins on changes to employment law that may impact your business

  • Provide a bi-monthly newsletter which will provide insight into various employment law queries and case law updates

  • Schedule optional quarterly face-to-face review meetings in order to catch up on developments within the business and discuss any ongoing matters
