Lucy is a Solicitor in the Contentious Trusts and Probate Team. She studied Law at Durham University thereafter obtaining a Distinction in her LPC LLM.
Prior to joining Forbes, Lucy spent almost 7 years at a national law firm handling complex and high value claims for a number of large insurer clients.
Lucy has dealt with a wide range of contentious probate cases including advising on claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975; removal of personal representatives; validity disputes and advising trustees on breach of trust claims.
Lucy has a wealth of litigation experience. She is both technically gifted and has a very friendly and approachable style. She was recognised in 2023 within the Legal 500 publication as a 'Recommended Lawyer'.
Lucy and her team acted in a very professional manner and approach ensuring that we were informed every step of the way.

It is never a good time when your nearest and dearest are sadly taken away. It can be one of the most somber moments in your life and if it was not for the help of Forbes and all there experience in many fields of Law and the help of my exceptionally special tight knit friends I would most probably not be writing this today.
