John joined Forbes in 2011 and is head of the Commercial department, regularly advising businesses trading on both a national and international basis. John leads Forbes' Manufacturing & Engineering sector group and regularly advises clients within the Construction, Digital and Sports sectors.
John's work predominantly relates to advising on a broad range of commercial issues and negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, including supply and purchasing, agency and distribution, manufacturing, outsourcing, intellectual property and other bespoke matters. John regularly acts in connection with construction and development projects, implementing building contracts, joint venture agreements, collateral warranties and other ancillary agreements.
John represents Forbes in holding a position on the board of directors of LawPact, an international network of law firms of which Forbes is a member. He is classified as both a 'Recommended Lawyer' and 'Next Generation Partner' by The Legal 500.
