Craig is the head of the Crown Court department, incorporating our Complex and Serious Crime Division. Craig qualified in 2003 and has over 20 years' experience advising clients in relation to:
Complex, Serious and Organised Crime,
Fraud, Financial and Business Crime,
HMRC criminal investigations, and
Regulatory investigations
Craig has extensive experience of all types of Crown Court work, and has enjoyed considerable national success, in representing clients facing international drugs trafficking conspiracies, complex gangland cases involving serious violence, and cyber-crime.Craig also has significant experience in representing clients in Financial Crime. He is regularly instructed in a variety of fraud cases across the country including those with substantial international elements. He is currently instructed in numerous complex and high value investigations.Craig has been regularly ranked in Legal 500 from 2017 and since 2022 has been recognised as a Leading Individual. In Chambers & Partners, Craig is ranked in tier 1 for Crime and tier 2 for Financial Crime.Craig is approved by the Legal Aid Agency as a fraud supervisor for the purposes of VHCC cases and is currently supervising 6 VHCC's.
